Question for ATL members
Does anyone know why Gwinett Suzuki has like 15 20 used 3-series? I want to buy one of them because they're extremely well priced but idk if I'm comfortable with buying a BMW from suzuki. If anyone knows anything about them or any experiences let me know. Thanks!

that is weird, but as long as they are under 50k miles you still will be covered by the BMW warranty, so you don't have to worry where you get one from. Just get something in writing that says that still have the warranty (i.e. no modding as been done) and you will be fine. I doubt that helps very much as I am stating the obvious
I would just give them a call and see whats up, because I know that BMW dealers HATE to keep inventory on the lot if it hasn't moved. I was looking at 2006 M5 that had been at the BMW dealer for less than 6 weeks and they were giving me a great price to just to get it out of there (but insurance costs and V10 gas mileage weren't exactly favorable). The BMW dealers will sell a lot of "off lease" cars to other dealers to move them off the lot, which is probably how so many ended up at a Suzuki dealer

As I was shopping for my last car I checked that dealership out. Their cars are swirl machines. Exterior-wise, they look TERRIBLE. Plan on spending $400+ to get them looking right.

I was tempted by the price too but I couldn't find anyone with a single good thing to say about them. They also have a ton of complaints with the BBB. If you want to save a trip from florida I can take a look at one if you want.

I drive by them from time to time on the way to work and have always wondered myself why they have so many European used cars for sale there...

Here's another experience.
Years ago my mom went there to look at a few cars. While we were inside the offices there was some salesman getting CUSSED OUT by a manager in front of everyone. Now my mother has had her own business for many years. Seeing this going down she walked up to the manager and told him off about doing that in front of everyone, he was straight up embarrassed and rightly so. The last time I was there waiting for them to check on a car I heard a conversation one of the owners was having with a new salesman. The new salesman made some kind of crack about selling a car every single day. The owner said straight faced that if he didn't sell at least one car per day he was gone. The salesman laughed like it was a joke until he looked at the owner's face and saw he wasn't joking.... After those two experiences I would be very cautious buying a car from somewhere that is run by those types of individuals. The phrase, "Cut-Throat", comes to mind. |
