Bmw e90 330i exhaust tips

Had my 330i now for a few months and love it. Exhaust tips have a milky effect ive tried wire wool numerous metal polishes but nothing is bringing them back. Got a price from bmw for them just wandering how they fit on? My e46 m3 were riveted on, is this the same in e90s? Cheers for any input.

Not sure if they are the same on all models but the ones I had on a 330d just pulled off, not easy though but once off mine cleaned up ok

No worries, that reminds me I have an old pair of tips in the garage somewhere, must dig them out & see if they are worth selling!

Alright Mate, I have a 330i, mine were silver, I wire wooled them down, then high temp black about 5 coats, thin and then clear laquer, transformed the look, looks now modern and stealth !. eBay mate 20 quid the lot.
