-= Chinese/Japanese/Korean and other languages for the CIC =-
I have great news for all Chinese, Korean and Japanese fellow members who have been looking for a solution to enable their native languages in the CIC.
I am proud to be the first and only vendor on this forum who can offer you not only the 100% OEM CIC retrofit but also a solution to localize your CIC The list includes the following languages: - German - English UK - English US - Spanish - Italian - French - Dutch - Arabic - Chinese Traditional - Chinese Simplified - Korean - Japanese - Portuguese - Russian - Polish - Swedish - Romanian - Hungarian - Turkish - Greek If you are ordering the CIC retrofit kit from me please make sure to list the languages you want to have enabled. If you already have the CIC installed in your car and would like to have additional languages activated please contact me by email at info@modyfikacjebmw.pl Please do not ask any commercial questions in this thread. The purpose of this post is just to inform you that the long-anticipated solution is finally available. Some people have been asking if they can still have the English menu with a possibility to display Chinese characters.

I got factory CIC (not retrofit) on a 09 135i. Recently BMW updated this as part of HPFP fix? Can I still have this done (Chinese/Japanese song names, and Chinese/Japanese menu if possible)?

It turned out it's not possible to add Chinese to the factory installed US spec CIC.
The Navigation will not work after the language update. I will update you on other languages soon. |

So you are saying the US factory installed CIC will not be able to display Traditional Chinese whatsoever? I mean I dont need the menu to be chinese, just need it to be able to show them on song lists.
