Just wanted to take a quick moment to detail some interior mods I recently finished, mainly because it was local guys who helped make it happen. First off, I contacted Rob (cyphr) to have him wrap my interior trim in CF vinyl. The result transformed the look and feel of my interior. Gone was the bland wood trim! Rob's work is really top notch and I wouldn't hesitate in the least to recommend him if you're considering wrapping your trim. I was on the fence about doing it for a long time but am so happy that I finally did it! Below are a few pictures showing his work..

Now it's funny because the first words out of my mouth (and Rob can attest to this!) when I saw my new trim installed was "I need a new steering wheel!" The boring non-sport steering wheel just stuck out like a sore thumb to me as it clashed with the sporty look of the CF fabric. So, I started my search for a new steering wheel. I stumbled upon a for sale ad for a slightly used sport airbag with multifunction buttons for a very reasonable price, and that was really the motivator that got the ball rolling on making my vision a reality. After securing a deal for the airbag, I noticed that a local member, Jan (jmh) was shopping the BMW Performance steering wheel from his old 335. After sharing a few PM's, we reached agreement on price and Jan was kind enough to make arrangements to meet me at my office in Boston to drop off the wheel. After a not-so-short trip to Turner Motorsport, I finally had the look I was going for with my interior. I absolutely love the way this wheel feels!! Anyway, thanks for reading, enjoy the pictures!

interior looks amazing. Jan's deal on the wheel was very nice. .I just couldn't find a cheap airbag.

I bought mine second hand but if I was buying new, getbmwparts.com is the place you want to go. They will have the best deal hands down.

Thanks! Yeah, he offered a really fair price. A quick search on E90Post and I uncovered a cheap airbag off a 2011 M-Sport.
