So I found my leak guys!! Must been a small one around the usual seam along top of expansion tank... all of a sudden it's gotten much worse and was able to see some leaking around the seam.

I ordered new tank from fcp euro - came so fast! As I was in driveway adding coolant because it was empty the ups truck pulled up lol was like damn I could of ripped out old one while it was bone dry

So after I add new coolant - do I use the blows valve first to purge air with the tank cap closed?

Then do I activate the water pump? And when I activate the water pump do I leave cap on or closed ?

Seen lots of YouTube video but haven't seen one clearly doing the steps

Update! Worked beautifully !!

The electric pump bleed was neat how it purged coolant right back into expansion tank

I'd say the most important tool for this job is a hose pic so you can pull up the metal clamp from the lower expansion tank hose

Also if possible try to drain the expansion tank as much as possible as I said earlier I had added about a quart right before and made a good mess

So happy to not see that low coolant light anymore what a quick job!

I'm sure at dealer would been. Like 500 bucks

Coolant tank from dealer -150?
Labor 200?
Coolant 20?

370 plus tax ?

Cost me 70 for all from fcp !

Pretty simple, isn't it? For all the flack the electric water pump gets, at least we get a really easy bleed procedure. It's kind of like topping a turd with a cherry, but you gotta take every victory where you can.
