My 02 sim stays on the car, works as it should, and I pass state emissions. Never a CEL..

At the end of the day (6 months later) MOST catted DPs will throw a CEL and will become resonated and slightly less powerful (more restrictive) catless DPs. That "high flow cat" will burn out, stop functioning and that's it... IMO, catted sound a bit better and that's the bottom line.
You will need DP fix regardless - or a swap to OEM to pass emissions.

MY COBB HF has over 3 yrs. of daily use. Still seeing the same measurements (e.g EGT and boost levels, per rpms)

Discounting for cheap knockoffs of well reputed HF Cats. let me throw some logic at you, against the internet myth about HF Cats clogging prematurely; they are by their very nature, less restrictive than stock cats. For this myth to have any merit, OEM cats would be clogging in less time.

After 2 years.. (?) of VRSF, I am too. Perfectly happy with it.
(COBB and VRSF prob using same cat - Magnaflow)

Just talking about CEL and aftermarket product's ability to hold it back and pass emissions on it's own..
After some time, not much difference between Catted and Catless.
