Who here has a BT cable? What are some of the things you have done with it?
I plan on getting one for the BMS flash, registering new battery, and clearing break light. Just curious what other people have used the cable for. |

You can do what I do, and keep it in the nice blown case and put it in your drawer. I've had mine for a long time and it sits in a drawer, The one time I was going to use it for plugs, it didn't work, because the software version had to be downgraded, and you couldn't just pull it from the web. $287 later, I was using my turn signal stalk which worked just fine!

My ebay $50 OBD2 cable for the win! I can install the free BMW software for diag/coding, I can download the free version of BMW Logger tool (made by Smooth1) and do a 1 click battery registration.
If only Terry would open up the BMS flashing for the OBD2 cable... I would be set... then again... I could just borrow your BT cable that you spent $287 on for that free flashing |
