'09 iDrive HDD playback jerky??

I have a new iDrive on an '09 'sedan' 330d and find that mp3 playback off the Hard Drive can be a bit stuttery and jerky. THis happens whether driving or parked. Does anybody else have this and if so, how did you manage to fix it?

Cheers,

JZ

I did not notice this on my car. Make sure it's not the audio files...

Its not the audio files because if you rewind back over the point in the track wher you heard the stutter, it isn'tthere a second time. It seems to be a problem with iDrive. A few other UK users have also reported a similar issue.

UK spec 2009 3 series have 13.05GB of space for music etc on the hardrive. Is this the same as US spec?

Perhaps more RAM or the like is required.

I have the same 330D M Sport with i-Drive and have no problem with the music. Indeed I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the standard system, which really rocks

YES, mine does this also... I asked the dealer and they said a march update should fix the problem. I don't believe them though.
