Thanks sir. Just let me know if it is a 5" or 7", although I'm almost certain they are the same connection.

Also looks like we are well on the pace to get the RHD heat shield put into production.

I would also like the RHD heat shield. I've got a VRSF 7" intercooler.

Thanks

Updated for Montye90 and madaz07.

We're up to 9 RHD-specific heat shields!

Mpowerrr, ABE92, JB4-335 - are you guys getting the RHD-specific heat shield (and bracket)?

We are actually up to 10 on the list- as there is another forum RHD list (of 2) where 1 wants the shield. So we should be good with just revising the shields (as per that picture posted) for you guys. But definitely the more the merrier- we still will end up with a bunch of stock on them as we will have to make many more than 10.

Thanks,
Rob

Just opened my outlets yesterday, they look neat, large and free flowing corners.

Can't wait to post some results later in the week.

Although they certainly used the same relative design your outlets are a bit different- being designed around the much larger compressor housings of the EVO's.

Few days left guys- any serious purchasers out there please get on this list so we know how many to order to accommodate!

We have now had about 8 sets of these install (some LHD, some RHD). So far so good- but a couple lessons have been learned so far:

1) The RHD Heat shield does not clear the RHD Steering Shaft (without some minor modifications). We will be revising it to produce a no hassle RHD specific heat shield to eliminate this issue.
2) The Wastegate Solenoid bracket that we have been supplying was originally designed around relocated coolant reservoir (for hot side inlets) and thus causes an interference with the coolant reservoir if left in the OE location. It was found that there are also some changes between the E60/E90 Wastegate Solenoid locations as well (the wiring harness is tailored in length accordingly). So in the best interest of offering a product with the least amount of install hiccups we will be making a new custom Wastegate Solenoid bracket that is designed around keeping the coolant reservoir in the OE location while also making it universal for the E60/E90.

Both of these items will be corrected and ready when the production units begin to ship early December.

Other than this all we have found was that the silicone end may need trimming, which is entirely what we'd expect as these will need to be tailored to your specific Intercooler and vehicle. We made the silicone longer than needed (or that was the hope) just for this purpose.

Appreciate all of the feedback thus far, we still plan on placing a large order next week so for those looking to purchase please let me know so we can accommodate the demand with this order accordingly.

Hi Rob can I please be added to the RHD list? My intercooler is a Wagner unit with stock connection and I'd like the heat shield and solenoid bracket. Thanks

James

James,

You've been added to the list.

Just an FYI we do offer the specialty OEM circlip adapter, which I believe you are referring to, but it is $30 extra (with the outlet purchase). Basically this adapter converts the OEM style Circlip adapter to a conventional bung adapter such that silicone can interface with it. See picture for reference and let me know if you want it added.

Thanks,
Rob

I have an ETS 5" IC. Still a little undecided about the heat shield.

Yes sir the RHD heat shield alone is $85 plus shipping. We did have someone install our outlets and the heat shield with TFT's so should be good there, but no guarantees on drop-in fitment with outlets other than our own. The affiliated WG solenoid bracket added to the heat shield is another $35. Both together with outlet purchase is $100.

Thanks,
Rob

Do you have any idea on the discounted GB prices yet Rob?

Will you be bulk shipping and combining them to individual states?

Just confirming that was a RHD TFT install? If so, please put me on the list for the heat shield. Is the bracket required due to the heat shield taking up that space? If so, add the bracket also.

Thanks Rob.

There will be no list for a heat shield alone. If you shall decide you want one you can just send an email once you know they are being produced.

As for the the heat shields fitment with the TFT's, my point was that we had a TFT inlet customer install his TFT's with our outlets and the heat shield and it fit without interference (with the TFT's). This is a LHD TFT customer, but it matters not, it should fit regardless of drive side. NOTE: Once again, RHD TFT's and our outlets can not work together as they occupy the same space.

But as stated prior, the OUTLET fitment (whether OEM, or other) may cause some grief with the heat shield. We just don't know until all the gazillion variables are attempted- but based on this guys feedback the TFT's had no interference with the heat shield and thus there should be no issues for RHD with TFT's barring outlet fitment concerns.

Thanks,
Rob
