Lowered the front with H&R springs. I have the rears in a box. The E93 looked like it had gin-sag before. Now it looks right. Going to the paintless dent guy tomorrow for the hail damage then getting wrapped in Nardo. May try wrapping myself....oh yeah. Looked at the oil leak. Seems to be rocker cover so that is good. Another day maybe

Started reconnecting the aquamist meth kit. A bit of a clean for her prior design wide-ness. .love the 285 18s all round setup. With my treadware rated 50 tyres in tow Ordered a headlight washer cover for the bumper(peice of crap things fly off so easy)
A bit of logging for flex fuel tune revision 6, from twisted. Last edited by rev210; 10-04-2020 at 01:12 AM.. |

330D Water meth installed!
View post on imgur.com Don't think I am happy. It's a Snow MPG-MAX kit, so it should have dual nozzles and I am 90% certain the dude has only installed the primary. I'll take it back on Monday to query. Pulls a little better above 3k, but not as noticeable as the initial tune, though caveat above. Also had the centre and rear muffler mufflers deleted. This turned out nice. View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com So stage 1 tune, straight pipe from DPF and it sounds like this at idle: Only mildly louder than stock, slightly deeper tone. Not particularly noisy at all on the road and no drone, just enough to make driving a bit more pleasurable as I have a bettter aural indication of engine RPM. |

Diesels respond well to W/M injection with no additional tuning required (which also means turning it off or running out while driving is no issue), keep exhaust gas temps nice and cool, and finally meth acts as a great cleaning agent to remove/keep carbon build up under contol.

Finally, after about 2 months, the shop refurbing my new wheels finished them!
These are 18" style 202's from an e85 Z4, finished in bronze with a gloss clear coat. Mounted with 20mm spacers. Not a wheel you see on 3 series often, I could find very few examples floating around. Replacing the 17" style 186's I was not really a fan of. Fitment is still pretty aggressive with the 20mm spacers, despite the Z4's running more offset: Last edited by sharaleo; 12-04-2020 at 05:28 AM.. |
