Because you stay out of boost when driving with light throttle, you actually get better gas mileage with a 335i, at least I felt anyways, and of course when you do give it gas it is an absolute beast!

Did you place your order yet?
I need a touring for work purposes. And the touring only comes in 328xiT so my choices were very slim. This is going to be my first BMW, and to make sure my experience isn't a bad one, I'm not 100% comfortable with CPO. But maybe next time.

Another reason for me, personally, is knowing that the HPFP has issues in the 335 and that the M3 are now drastically more reliable, I would have chose an M3. Again, that's personal preference, to each his own.

I'll be making the order once my friend (also the person taking care of me at BMW) comes back from his vacation.

Can't wait to get the car and show up to some meets!

Man .. what a hassle it is dealing with BMW Gallery .. trying to get hold of them since 7am this morning, and it's taken until 10:30am to actually speak to somebody.

Bringing car in tomorrow, but they can't guarantee it'll be looked at. And they have 'no loaners' available. I said it's probably my HPFP going, and was told that none of the new pumps are failing. What BS.

My wife is supposed to be picking up her new Mini Countryman tonight from the same dealership .. so might tell her to wait on it until they sort out my car.

Yup I have been there. They will only fix it, once the pump goes. If it is still driveable then they usually won't fix it. When it happened to me, I just left the car in front of the dealership, dropped the keys off in the box and left.

I left the HPFP code 29F2 in the DME.. so hopefully they will act on that.

Limp mode is dangerous .. I was accelerating on Deerfoot at the time, and it was literally like hitting a brick wall. Good thing there was nobody behind me!

Gallery is the worst, better off going to Calgary BMW which isn't much better.

I wish BMW's service department was as top notch as Lexus. It sucks my oil change is coming up, might try Motorwerkes or Vitek.

HPFP problems suck ;( that's why N52's rock ;p

That's what they told me at Gallery "If you want a loaner, you'll have to wait until the end of June" .. wtf, you want me to drive around for a month on a dodgy HPFP?

Funnily enough, one month ago, they had no problem getting me a loaner with no notice when my car wasn't ready on time. I didn't end up needing it, because they managed to finish it while I was there completing the loaner "rental agreement".

Dealerships are so shady .. I know because I work for a dealership group

Guys! Just ask them to send you to enterprise rental and they'll pay for you to drive a rental car for however long you need!

I am not able to get a BMW loaner because I'm under 25, so instead they send me to enterprise off Mcleod and I get my pick of cars! I've driven a 2011 Mercede's C230, 2011 Nissan Maxima, 2011 Nissan Altima, 2010 Volswagen passat, 2010 Chrystler 300, 2010 Chevy Cruz..............

I agree that Calgary BMW is much better then Crowfoot BMW.
I have to say though, I'm very lucky as I have been given incredible service by Crowfoot BMW, they have always treated me very well and the lady whom is my advisor is super nice, and pretty on the eyes as well!

Hope you get everything fixed though man.

Unfortunately, both BMW dealerships in Calgary are owned by the Dilawri Group .. so they have a bit of a monopoly in this city.

My advisor (Jennifer) seems OK - but my first appointment was no challenge; let's see how she copes with a difficult customer tomorrow

I also don't believe her when she says the latest HPFP hasn't failed yet. Because I've read plenty of stories across the forums about the 446 pump failing already.

I'm worried they will say "unable to reproduce problem .. fuck off".. or something along those lines. I can't be driving a car that will randomly cut power at WOT .. I'll be a dead man if somebody is keeping up behind me!

Why did you get banned from beyond meets!?!?

-- Google Husky Mowhawk. You can go to there website and search all gas stations in Alberta that sell 94 octane. There are tons of locations all over the City.

So went to Gallery tonight to help my wife pick up her Countryman .. same guy who sold me my car sold hers .. and he sorted me out with a loaner for tomorrow! It's a Mini, but who cares, it's transport !

Great guy -- Highly recommend Bobby to anybody wanting to buy a BMW or Mini

Gallery has great sales department .. now we just need their service to be the same.

I said I would get myself banned if I had as loud exhaust as you.
Hahahah

I think all Husky/Mohawks sell their premium as 94 octane, o at least all the ones I've filled up at. It's +$0.05 more than 91 octane

You don't have to fill 94 for daily driving, 91 is more than fine.

Maybe if you hit the track and want to save a few thousanth of a second with the in gain you might get lol
