Another BFIK, Stage 2+ and transmission rebuild by Bimmer Performance Center

Another Platinum Bronze Metallic 335d in for our Big Frickin Intercooler Kit. This particular 335d arrived for our Stage 2+, BFIK, transmission rebuild and a few other services. The customer told us that the transmission was slipping and we verified the slip and advised the customer before adding power to the vehicle the transmission will have to have a rebuild before causing further damage. A transmission rebuild is not necessary for any tunes or upgrades. This was purely a service item that can handle and wanted to make sure the customer can enjoy their 335d without worry. We did not dyno this one before or after but results should be similar to the other Bronze 335d we had in the shop earlier in the week.

For additional information feel free to contact us at (919) 501-2090 or email service@bimmerperformancecenter.com

We don't have the hard data for this, the main data we focus on is making improvements to how each vehicle performs on our dyno. We can see that this unit flows better and out performs the stock oem intercooler. If this intercooler had a negative affect we would see loss of power due to excessive heat soak or see the vehicle running lean due to flow. We have installed a number of these intercoolers and on the vehicles that we get to dyno we can see that they hold pretty consistent numbers.

Sure, send it my way! Im not in need of a rebuild right now (at least I don't think so), but it would be good to have the info when time comes to do one. Much appreciated.
