Who did you order your hks exhaust from?

Hks Australia said it would take 3 months and I would have to buy a bulk amount of them.

So I ordered of a company that said 2-3 weeks.

I payed for a hks exhaust and waited 3 months for a place called spark tek only to have them tell me that they can't ship the large boxes.

I got it from one of the members on the classifieds. From memory, he told me originally purchased it via Advan/BMR

NEW BMW 3 SERIES E92 E93 M performance Interior Trim Set Dashboard RHD Carbon https://www.ebay.com.au/i/322743794161

Is this similar to what you have? Was your trim hydrodipped? This seems too cheap!

Mine was 1200 USD
Mine in hand made. The guy had to purchase genuine trim pieces, then lay real carbon fibre over it, then clear coat.

That link, I have no idea what it is, $500 I would think is a vinyl wrap

Is says genuine. But then says "made with hydrographic"

Genuine would be like $2000-3000 AUD

I think that one is hydrodipped

It is a genuine set of bmw trims that has been hydrodipped with carbon finish.
Doesnt look too bad to be honest.

Stupid question time...
For the dummys like me, what's hydrodipped?

I'm assuming liquid because it says hydro but no idea how that relates to a CF finish :

557AUD plus 84AUD shipping seems very cheap, even if it were stock standard wood grain i wouldn't expect to pay that little for new trim..

I cant see an option for an LCI iDrive controller though, or CCC idrive, i think its a one off

If you read the description carefully, you will notice its not actually a "new" item.
It is a re-manufactured item, which means it is a used item which has been refurbished and is in as new condition.
Essentially it is like you or me hydrodipping our trim and selling it with it being fitted after it has been done.

Yeah ok, that makes sense.

I actually want to change my set again, new colour, I need to buy a full stock set.

Its CIC, in the aluminium trim and I'm fairly sure the back on that piece is plastic. I can have a look on the weekend and let you know.

Price negotiable.

Yep, hand made with real carbon fibre through, it looks mint.

I would expect a full set new would be upwards of 1000 anyway, if I could find one to buy :/
