Interested to know when your flex fuel kit shipped out from Motiv, to see what batch it came from.

Does MHD read a voltage from the ECA? MHD OTS v8 98ron map flashed to the car?

Changed my HPFP back to my old one as the new one is not performing, will be sending the new one back to FCPEURO for a replacement as I logged the old one and it's much healthier

also put NGK iridium plugs in while I was there

What’s up with the HPFP? Not delivering enough fuel?

Hi Socks,
yep it's dropping below 1000PSI at the top end of 3rd gear, the old one holds at 1800PSI,

Tim wasn't happy with that number and I've read that you really want them to hold above 1500PSI at WOT all the way through your rev range

The real killer for me is the fact that the old one is sooo much healthier in terms of pressure, so the new one obviously has some kind of issue

Checked bellhousing run out.

Expected it to be out 3-5mm as I got the chev drawings from online and I was converting inches too mm. And the crank centre was not shown clearly with a reference dimension off any other bolt hole.

Run out is .067 inch

I now have to move the bellhousing holes .033 inch or .85mm in one direction and check again.

See how It goes next time.

The f#cking water pump , some hoses, serpentine belt, idler and adjuster pulleys. Would have done plugs and coils but my thin wall Kincrome plug socket wasn't quite thin wall enough so I went at it with an angle grinder but being only cheese grade mild steel it fractured! Hoping the below will be suitable;
https://www.mxstore.com.au/p/Bikeser...ll-14mm/BS9132

My car has around 135k km's on it and I'm quite certain that under the CBS system (the previous owner) the coolant had never been changed. It looked remarkably like diesel.

Cheers, badmanners.

I didn't think GM or BMW's manufacturers tolerances were that tight.

Supercheap auto... thin walled socket from their motorbike tools range. I forget the exact brand. Works fine for me.

Yep, I reckon the supercheap one is the same as what I'm getting from mxstore but supercheap were showing no stock at anywhere near me and these guys get good reviews in the bike world.

The bellhousing looks good and should work very well when completed. You are installing a glide aren't you?

Not today but last Friday I put new ROH Monaco 18' rims on to replace the 19" I had after a nasty piece of road works dented both front rims and the bas tards refused to acknowledge they caused it.
Photos to follow.
