I got a 06 330i (Sports Suspension). Am planning to do a suspension upgrade in phases and to start off, planning to buy the Bilstein B8's with matched eibach springs. Is this the right choice? I dont want to reduce the height of the car . And in the place where I drive , there are lots of potholes too.

May I know from which online site I need to buy these?Are there any sale going on right now? And when this is shocks/struts is being done, what other components can be replaced along with this as a preventive measure and to save labor.

The Indy who inspected my car informed that the rear shocks are totally worn out and the stabilizer rods needs to be replaced.

I was thinking of replacing the below too. did I miss anything? Appreciate all inputs.

1) fresh bump stops

2) strut bearings /upper and lower shock mounts /Rear Shock Mounts. (Monroe shock mounts)

3) New sway bar bushings and swaybar end links.

I switched to B8's with Eibach springs in my 4Motion Bora V6. They really were amazing and the car felt so good. I'm planning on getting the same combo in my 330i because I reckon they'll be even better in a RWD platform.

Don't buy lowering springs if you don't want to lower the height of the car! Just reuse your existing springs. They don't wear out.

Make sure to get all hardware you mentioned. The Bilsteins are a good start for an upgrade for sure, they make the car feel much more hunkered down and stable, more like E46 turn in with more Porsche like compliance.

You do not need to and shouldn’t buy lowering springs if you don’t want to lower the car. Just buy the HDs and keep your stock springs.

If you are on a worn suspension, the Eibach springs will not lower your car much more. Highly recommend them.

I got Bilstein B6 for my e90 sport package car.

I had these installed because NYC and Brooklyn roads are awful. I wanted durability for the years I was here (got that) and to compensate for non RFT tires.

The car rides HARD. It's only comfortable at higher speeds. Ride is stiff and harsh for around town speeds. Bilsteins are designed to wrk best at highway speeds.

When I move from here, which is soon, I will have Bilstein B4 sports installed to make it smoother.

The B6s are NOT family or wife friendly unless on SMOOTH roads. Period.

Eibach springs may lower the front end of a sport package car by 1/2 inch.
