His black eye has cleared now. He's fine in himself which is a problem in a way - trying to keep a 5 yr old from banging his head!. He's got a hearing test next month as he seems deaf on one side at the moment - could be unrelated. The school have started the H&S investigation.

The only difficult bit for him at the moment is not being allowed to play out at playtimes etc - he gets to sit and read books with another friend for the next 5 weeks.

Still stressful times by the sound of it Paul.

See what you mean by him feeling fine within himself, bit of a double-edged sword I suppose.

I hope it all works out well both with the hearing test and the investigation.
