Selling tyres advice
Hi
I haven't sold part worn tyres before so I was wondering if anyone could help with a couple of things. When giving the tread depth do you give the actual tread depth or the depth left above the wear indicator? I've never used anything other than the post office before for delivering stuff, how do you use couriers? Do they pick stuff up at yours or do you drop stuff off at a depot? Sorry if it sounds a bit dim |

Measure the actual tread depth and give 3 or 4 measurements across the tyre. Above all be honest as any misrepresentation will cause issues with your purchaser. You also ought to state if any puncture repairs or damage to side walls.
Couriers are simple, generally they will pick up from your address and take to purchaser. All you need to do in the case of tyres is attach an address label and they aren't going to get damaged in transit. |

The actual tread depth, the indicator is there simply as an indication. If you need to tell the depth you can pick those tyre depth guages up for £1.33 on ebay.
You can do both with couriers but doesn't seem to make any difference regarding the cost. |
