Tee hee! He got quite well known for a while and did session work (Dad that is) for some pretty big names - then I came along (when he was 24), his mates all starting killing themselves through drugs and he decided he needed a "proper" job. Still a damn good bass player though. I have all the musical talent of a paraplegic locust however.

haha, I am a MASSIVE Lil' Wayne fan, and Kanyes good though I don't know how his autotune would work on stage, I did recently see Ne-Yo and Keri Hilson at the O2 arena though, that was great, especially the MJ Tribute.

I can't remember half of who I've seen over the years. Seen many more than once too.
The Seahorses. 1st gig brilliant, although it was too much of Squire. Shed Seven. Still a great band. Embrace. As above. Editors. Been brilliant each of the three times I've seen them. Elbow. I did not quite get them. Doves. Totally underestimated band. Feeder. You can't not enjoy them live. Stereophonics. Done to death. Bored of listening to them after 4 gigs. David Grey. Very talented man. Paulo Nutini. Usually off his face, but good still. James Blunt (3 times too LOL) He was really good at the Barrowlands. Rod Stewart. The old man still has it. Never seen so many drunks at a gig. All oldies too. R.E.M. I shouldn't need to say how good they are. Muse. One of the best live bands ever. The Proclaimers. I guess you have to be Scottish and they are fantastic. The Zutons. In their day had some catchy tunes. Travis. Really good. Early stuff still the best. Texas. 90 minutes of sleep. Third Eye Blind. Turned up without knowing much. Enjoyed it. Jason Mraz. His bongo player was mad. He had 2 good songs. Razorlight. Great in their day. The Racontours. 2 big songs again. Glasvegas. Worst band live I've seen. A real car crash of a gig. Kasabian. Go see them on upcoming tour. Worth it although new material sounds poor. The Prodigy. Never though I'd like them. Loved them. Snow Patrol. Crowd pleasing. The Courteeners. If ever there was a singer who could not sing....... Faithless. Very very good. Really enjoyed them. Biffy Clyro. Can't beat a bit of Biffy. The View. I know one song has the words superstar tradesman, no idea what the rest of the song words or indeed what he spoke about between songs. Drink+Drugs+Dundonian accent= not a language anyone understands. Frank Turner. I'm really into Frank. Seems to get little or no recognition for his talent. Lots of great tracks over his albums and great live. I can't remember the rest just now. Loads more |

Exactly the reason I started this thread - easy way to look back and remember what you've seen - Kerr - we have similar tastes by the look of it. I used to be in the same class at School as Rick from Shed7 - See him now and again when dropping/picking up the kids at school. Seen them loads over the years and have booked to see them again in Dec.

Marilyn Manson Metallica Terrorvision Bush Dinosaur Jr 3 Colours Red Feeeder Fear Factory Offspring Green Day Pist.On Coal Chamber Sepultura Fleetwood Mac Deep Purple Robbie Missed out on the chance to see Slash when he played in Stoke last month, which I was gutted about, and haven't been to see anything for years. Must try harder

Just seen Muse again, had to also see Dizzee Rascal though (awful). Bastille were also supporting and they were excellent.
