F: 225/40/18 / R: 255/35/18 ^ This is the "conservative" tire fitment, and will result in a direct fit onto a stock E90 LCI without modifications needed. F: 235/40/18 / R: 265/35/18 ^ Up front this is a direct fit with no modifications required. In the rear, it is highly likely that at stock ride height this will also be a direct fit with no modifications required. This assumes you are using street tires. Please note that the E90 LCI sedan has a wider rear track width (16mm extra) in comparison to the e92 coupe and E90 pre-LCI sedan, which results in 8mm of LESS clearance to the rear fenders. In some cases, if the car has been lowered significantly, or a brand of tire is used that runs very wide (extreme summer tires / r-comps) you may need to roll the rear fenders to prevent rubbing under load. 275/35/18 rear tires could also be thrown into the mix if you really want to maximize rear end grip, but you will need to roll the rear fenders to prevent rubbing. Yeah this is going to be a street car, just and I was either going with koni yellow or bilstein shocks and lowering springs, I've had KW enjoyed them for a bit but I've gone out of enjoying the feel for coil overs anymore and the r888 is gonna be my quick setup, as I don't drive the car on a day to day basis maybe a couple weekend quick roll arounds , and i just like the compound of the tire as I've had them before and I like the way they look and feel as well! And if not that maybe some Pss I just want the meaty feel and look again if that makes sense. If I have to install camber plates that's a no problem on my end as well , but I'm not looking to much for camber but if I have to what are my options for opting out , as I don't really enjoy to much camber as well sorry if this was a little confusing !

Apex Arc-8 17x9 et30. Sumitomo HTR Z III's 245/40/r17 square on basically sport suspension height. 12mm spacers in the back, 10mm spacers in the front. I really should have done either 245/45 or 255/40. Sigh.

I'm also looking at 18x9s in the front. Your 8.5s seem to poke out a bit. Would 9in be too much? Thanks!

These were the default recommended sizes for my car from Apex. The profile 1 is for the front. I like the look of the profile 3 for the fronts, but was told I'd have to change the camber and other stuff to make it fit. Actually, with the 8.5 in the front, I felt it was too tucked in, so I actually added a 12mm spacer in the front and a 10mm spacer in the rear and its perfect now I think.

Been meaning to post some pics to this thread for awhile. I spent days reading through here before I ordered my PS-7s back over Black Friday.
19x9, ET35 in the front with 245/35/19 PSS 19x9.5, ET33 in the rear with 265/30/19 PSS I need to crank my coilovers (Bilstein B14) down in the back a little more. But as is it rides perfect and I only scrub in the rear over really hard dips. I'm 100% satisfied with the look and quality. |
