Haunted clutch pedal

Hi im just wondering if anybody else has this somtimes when i release clutch i feel a tap under the accelerator pedal,and its quite anoying. The cars a 318 i.

Possibly clutch release bearing? Could be wrong..

May be the floor mat, used to happen on my 1 series when it got trapped under the pedal.

yep i had the floor mat do exactly this.

It was too far forwards and the clutch pedal would catch on it and pull it up as you released it.

yep as above i always get this when my floor mat slides towards the pedals.

yep, bloody floor mats especially if they are aftermarket ones.

Thanks when i got home i phoned derrick oh cora,but he was busy so was arther c clarke. So i borrowed a bible and made a crucifix out of two lolly sticks and an elastic band.so i ventured forth towards the car shouting demons be gone and the lords prayer, opened the door put my hand in and pulled the mat back 1 inch. Straight away i noticed the difference and a smell of flowers filled the car problem solved.
