Reputable BMW parts store in Canada
Hey all,
Tried to order some parts from getbmwparts.com formally Tischer, but they emailed me and refunded me because they said BMWs policy does not allow them to ship outside the US. With that said any Canadian sites/stores that have a lot of inventory and are within Canada or even ship too Canada, besides ECS, FCP etc. Currently need to do my E-BOX fan. Thanks for any recommendations, been away for a while so excuse me if I am in the wrong section or if there is a vendor section I should be looking at. |

Rock auto for OE parts. Best prices imo.

I use rockauto, eurosporttuning (toronto) and FCP.
did try ECS once 10years ago, never again. customs and shipping was higher than the part, and the part wasn't big ; ofh for a audi. Last edited by oVeRdOsE.; 03-23-2024 at 03:50 PM.. |

Pelicanparts ships USPS to Canada, so some chance at duty free or your regular tax rate + $9.95. Use a coupon code and a junk email address because they’ll email you 3-4 times a week.
Rockauto, again use a coupon code. I plan ahead and get parts on 1-2x/yr US trips. But even $$$ shipping is sometimes cheaper than domestic. EBay for one off parts sometimes (got my trunk gas struts cheap there a while ago). There seems to be a few EU Baltic sellers that sell OEM parts at good prices. Sometimes I sell parts I order by accident or otherwise dont end up using. EBay/aliexpress from Asia for random non-structural stuff (e.g. the passenger door handle that disintegrates) Don’t totally discount Amazon either, e.g. Bosch has its own store on .ca Some of the FB groups will have part-outs but I haven’t gone down that road yet personally. Highly suggest you look into cross border pickups or other similar service.
I found fcp shipped for free to US, picked up in Markham via CBP to be the same price as Rock, but of course lifetime warranty with FCP. Works great for many places that offer free or cheaper shipping to US, plus you have control over customs process without paying higher administration fees charged by the couriers etc.
