Anyone have their car at port of exit?

just called the 800 number and they said that their tracking STOPS once the car reaches the port of exit. Also they said that it usually takes 7-10 days once the car has reached the port to exit. Then, he said that once the car leaves the port it's usually another 4 weeks before your pick it up

Dealer rep just told me I will be loaded on a ship tonite or tomorrow and should expect the car by 11/9 or 11/10. Who knows?

I want to go to germany and ride with it back home!

That makes sense since your car has been waiting for over 10 days. I would hope your car has already been loaded cause there's a ship leaving Germany for NY today and probably left already. Otherwise, the next ship to leave is the 28th (Atlantic Concert) and the 29th (Liberty). I'd prefer to be on the latter since its transit days is 11 vs the 17 of the Atlantic.

"Just spoke with someone from the 800 number and they said my car prob won't be on a ship until the middle of next week. My car has been at the port of exit since 10/24 and will probably be on the Courage which is leaving on 10/31; 5 more days at least."

ok, hope I'm on that boat too, I'll check the 800 number today. Courage pulls into NY on 11-13. not too far away. My SA told me the cars they get are usually processed in NJ.

I went to the dealer yesterday because I needed a fix. I just sat in one for a while....I know, pathetic.

Anyone know how long it takes for the cargo to appear on shipping company website? I have memorized my VIN # from checking so many times - scary.

I feel like I'm 31 yrs old going on 5 yrs old on xmas morning. IwantitIwantitIwantit!

Pretty sure I've read it takes a few days to register in the carrier's system.

just called my SA and he said that car is "about" to be loaded...should be on the next vessel. FYI, according to the 800 number, once the car reaches the port of exit, there is no more tracking available from that source.
Also for those who are unaware, floor mats are NOT included in price of car. (whole separate thread), but I asked my SA to ask his manager to "throw them in"...we'll see what happens

800 number rep told me the same, "a day or two" to get loaded, seemed unsure. here's hoping I'm driving my 328 by Thanksgiving!

So, if the (800) # is accurate (within 24 hours), my car should be on either of the following ships...

BREMERHAVEN 27/10/2006 BRUNSWICK, GA 09/11/2006 TASCO ED635-TCO...arriving on 11/9/06!!!

-- most likely this one, since it leaves the Port today, but it arrives in Brunswick, GA 5 days earlier than the Don Pasquale!

My car arrived at the port on the 24th, a day after you. This means I will make either the ship leaving on the 28th or 29th. I'd rather be on the 29th since the transit days are shorter.

Either I made a mistake or they changed their schedue, there is no ship leaving on the 31st. It's now 11/1 for the Courage.

No, my VIN # does not show up yet in the WW auto cargo tracking. I'm sure it will though in a day or two.

Man I am jealous! I have been waiting on the dock way over a week already. MY CA still thinks I'll get it by 11/9, but everything is still indicating I'm on hold at port - OC, 800#, WW tracking site.

Your CA is nuts. There's no way you'll get your car by 11/9 unless it was shipped over a week ago.
