I'm now "In Transit"... so I'm guessing I'm on the Don Pasquale

BREMERHAVEN 26/10/2006 NEW YORK, NY 09/11/2006 DON PASQUALE

Stateside on the 9th... woo! 14 days isn't the best transit time, but at least it's not the worst. Still no tracking info on ww yet, though.

So my CA called today and said that my car was in transit (which I knew b/c I've been tracking it via the 800 # and OC, etc.). However, he didn't say which vessel it was on (and I forgot to ask him) and when I mentioned I thought it was coming into to GA, he said "no, it's supposed to dock in S. Carolina on 11/9/06." However, when I looked on the WW Web site, it doesn't show any shipping vessels leaving Germany (and docking in Charleston, SC) until 11/29/06. I know my ship left the port on 10/27/06, which would have been the Tasco and it's supposed to dock in Brunswick, GA, not Charleston, SC. I think my CA is just incorrect, thinking that most of the ships bound for the SE U.S. come into Charleston, SC.

Maybe he doesn't know it's supposed to dock in Brunswick, GA. Does this all make sense? Am I missing something?

I talked to my CA. My car left germany on the 25th. He said my car is on the Frisia - a Kline ship. Said should be in SC on the 9th w00t.

sflgator, I guess PresaMat just answered your question. Looks like you're on the Frisia which is not a WW line.

I guess it's possible. I wonder how delayed the BMWNA Cust. Service (800) # is since it updated that my car was in transit yesterday, 10/27/06, and of course the OC Web site just changed to "en route" today, 10/28/06. I assumed the (800) # was fairly accurate to the day or at the very most, only delayed by 24 hours, in which case I figured my car went on the Don Pasqual or the Tasco. However, now I see it may have been loaded on the Frisia with PresaMat's car for docking at Charleston, SC like my CA said. I guess it doesn't matter, as long as it gets here on time!

The 800#/OC updated the same for me. Chances are we are on the same boat.

My CA said today I should be taking delivery on approx. 11/15/06, only 6 days after it arrives in SC on 11/9/06. Is that what your CA has estimated for you as well?

Car just showed up on the BMW OC as en route. WW does not show anything in the cargo tracking dept.

Well, it all depends on the VPC for me. I am trying to get them to do port install of the Aerokit. If they do it will probably be another week before delivery. If not I should take delivery around the 15th or so.

there is probably 24 hour lag time...have faith, we'll both be on that boat...trust me, I'm checking like every half hour

I sure hope you're right on that one. The Liberty sounds nice to be on since it has the shortest transit time.

I'm not adding the full M tec aero kit; just the rear spoiler, alum. pedals, and window tint. All of which, I'm having my dealer install. My dealer's SA is trying to locate a rear lip spoiler and if that's not available, then they'll put on the rear deck spoiler for like $500-$600 installed (~$325 for the parts).

An NYK line boat the Ludwigshafen is in port now arriving in NY on 11-9. have you checked out the web cam?

are you sure you'll be on a WW ship?

I'm still at port also, since 10-26.
