My CA in Darien, CT sent me an (unsolicited) e-mail early Sunday morning saying the ship was due in Monday, and the car should get to the dealer within a week. Not sure what they will have to do with it when the receive it. I'm holding out hope to get it by Saturday, but could be early next week. This waiting is getting pretty hard, but I can't really complain, since they told me 6-8 weeks and I could get it within five weeks or so.

didnt turn red yet so it didnt dock yet. Its probably making to stops in the nyc area.. the dock is in nj actually but maybe there is another drop off point also

Rhooki did you confirm using the WWL cargo tracking function that your VIN is on the Courage? If not, could you do that and let us know if you are on Courage, and not Otello (like BMCoupe), because my status is still "En Route". Thanks.

Mine also shows en route. My recollection is that this system lags reality by a couple of days.

I never got my VIN yet only the Production Number from my sales advisor. How did you guys figure your VIN without the actual car? If I could get it then I'll confirm if it is really on the Courage or not.

Did the Otello docked in the last day or so?

you can get your vin from the OC website where it says En Route or At VPC. Go to the detail tab on the left.

Hi guys, as the final stretch approaches, lets keep each other up to date of any communication with their CA's.

after checking with firstnynj.com (doesn't seem to update very frequently), the historical data shows that the ships coming from europe seem to arrive late most of the time.　We can always hope that this one powered its way quick~

last year my 335 coupe docked on the 12th and didnt get it till the 21st of november. If the ships docks today i would say we will have it by mid week next week. End of this week is to soon

I've followed Riditec advice and verified my VIN - I'm on the Otello! Arrived 10/25/2007.

I'm sorry, turns out I'm tracking the wrong ship!.

On the bright side, I hope I should get it by the end of the week.

Shouldn't matter for those on the Courage. You can get locked in on that rate for 60 days. Call your SA today and arrange financing.

now on the topic of November rates, do you guys know if I signed the order sheet in September, can I get the nov lease rates with the lower money factor? This will make my wait feel worthwhile.

called my CA just now, who mistook me for a customer that just ordered an M6 vert. (the call went nowhere until 2 minutes later, she's like oh wait, you're the guy with the 328 vert...)

The ship docked yesterday the 28th!!.

The only bad part about the call is that the lease rates didn't change for the 328i verts. Nov rates will be out Nov 1st, hopefully it'll be a tad lower.

Oh sweet, that's awesome. I had a feeling that might have happened because the weirdness with the posted schedule on the WWL website. Did you get an idea of whether an end-of-week delivery is within the realm of possibility?
