Do little steam cleaners work on headliners? I would worry about it stretching the material or swelling the cushion behind it. Although admittedly I have no idea how else to clean it.

thd, Frank and I will be installing Euro Adaptive Xenons on my car as well as Frank's rear power outlets (to the best of my knowledge). I would like to install my rear power outlets and my split/sliding armrest, but I dont think they will arrive before the weekend... |

Where'd u guys order the parts from? I'm thinking of some "easy" mods; sunglass tray, rear power outlets, mud flaps etc.

I have been ordering my most recent parts from crown auto. Most of these parts that I am ordering are custom order parts from germany, so they take time to get here... |

Come by if interested. Send me a PM and I'll reply with the address. I did not get my rear outlets plus I think I need more parts. (that's another story). I did get the sunglasses tray. But I want to do the tray and rear outlets in one pass.

Luckily I ordered the rear outlets and the split armrest at the same time... Im hoping they will be here by the following weekend. That way I can also do those mods in one session... Do you have to order the actual outlets themselves on top of the console? Or is it just the plugs that are missing??? |

Unfortunately, he was in a recent accident. I believe he is going to get reimbursed from his insurance if he provides the cash upfront for the euro's (as I would assume thats the route he is taking). thd... Where is your car being repaired at? Mine was a 5 week wait until I got mine back (one week longer than it needed to be because of a body shop letting my car sit for a week before deciding they could not fix it). I hope yours is restored in a faster fashion than mine was. |

Mine went to an independent shop that has worked on BMW's before. IT sat in their shop for a week before they concluded they could not do the repairs. It ended up going to BMW of Fairfax Collision center. I would suggest their shop, and I believe you can probably persuade them to do the other mods. They did take their time with my car, but it seems that everything was fixed right. If you call ahead and ask them to replace your current bodykit with the msport and everything else you wanted, im sure they could make it happen. Euro xenons they might not, so I would expect that if you got it for them, they could handle the work... |
