much appreciated. will i have to purchase any of the license for protool? going to mess with it when i get off work
There are two licenses, one for code reading and one to code your car. The upfront cost for both is about the same maybe a little more for a code reader like the Foxwell NT510. But so soo worth it. You'll also need either the bimmergeeks Bluetooth OBD2 or a KDCAN cable with an OTG adapter. I went with a $15 kdcan cable from aliexpress and a generic otg adapter for like $10. I always keep it in my car

I don't recognize the assembly I'll have to bust out my old OEMs later this weekend. If I remember correctly I only had one stepper motor on each light

Start checking connections to see if the halos are getting power at all.

If you can't find something wrong in the harness from the car itself, I'd contact the company you bought them from. Hopefully there is some kind of warranty for replacement

Another possibility that I'm not 100% sure on is maybe the FRM cut power to them for reason?

Oh, yes! I did. Upon further inspection I've realized I never took that one out nor installed the others that came out easily. I was going through ProTool last night and noticed I had coded out the AFS entirely. Most likely to fix the error caused by my amateur install.

I think i'm gonna go the same way with coding out the erros. The only thing that i still bothering me a little is that the led in the angel eyes is not serviceable once that led is out the entire headlight will have to be swaped. Thaths what has me thinking yet.

It's not hard at all And that might be what has to happen unless you're comfortable with opening up the headlight or having someone else open it up to repair it

Thank YOU

I had been going back and forth for two years now since I hydroplaned and hit a guardrail about buying these headlights. Because of you all I just did and cannot wait to install with my new bumper and hood. Thank you thank you thank you! I’ll post before and after shots as well, I hope they look as good as yours.

I do have a question, are your halos running during the day?
