Master cylinder question

So I'm putting an E90 master cylinder onto my E30 318iS, this is said to be a great upgrade and my UK spec E30 could use one! They kept the master cylinder on the "German" side and linked the brake pedal with a linkage from one side of the car to the other, really hurts braking despite my having braided lines and good quality parts.

Anyway, what I want to know is does the E90 have different bores inside the master cylinder to alter the front / rear brake bias.

I assuming the front port on the master cylinder is for the rear brakes just like my E30? Of course if they're both the same diameter inside the master cylinder I dare say it doesn't matter.
