Hello and good afternoon, Everyone
I feel almost sorry that my opening gambit is a question about broken, or at least rapidly deteriorating, rear suspension links. These are the dogbones which link the top of the rear bearing carrier to the rear subframe. Mine, which you can see if my pic uploads, have cracked and are beginning to bow outwards leaving the rear end feeling slightly vague. My question is does anyone know our is anyone able to recommended an aftermarket parts supplier who can supply OEM-standard or improved-design replacements for less than the £182.88 BMW are quoting me for a pair? Many thanks in anticipation! J |

My previous car was this:- Which was a great deal of fun but decided it was time for something a bit more sensible so settled for this:- Few plans for it but just enjoying it for the moment! Conor. |

Be Rude Not To
Just saying Hello, after selling my e46 330 vert, then my e60 530, then purchasing a F07GT 535 14 months and then in Jan I purchased a F11 535d I decided that I had an urge to sell some thing and go get another convertible. Last Saturday I did a good deal with a trader on my GT and purchased a 335i Convertible M Sport Highline DCT with 45k miles in Laguna Seca Blue The e46, GT and F11 Picture of the e93 will follow in a build/project thread |

Hi everyone! Bought this 335d, my first BMW, just under a year ago now. Done a few little things to it but aesthetically it's still the same as in the pictures. Personally, I think the wheels really look the part but unfortunately the rear two were found with single cracks in them during a recent MOT so I'm currently on the look out for some replacements. I think I'll go for non OEM & non RFT to avoid a repeat performance! It's a shame because I really like the 313s. Been looking at CSl reps in gunmetal but just need to work out what offset will work on the rear. Anyway, here are some (dealer) pictures from when I bought it:

12 Days of ownership...
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, I bought myself my first BMW on 28 June this year. I got a nice silver 320d with full service history and the clutch and DMF had just been done by the dealer too... a few minor scuffs, but all cosmetic and was gonna sort those out as I went. Anyway, 12 days into ownership on Saturday morning, this happened.... Some lad pulled out of a side road in his little Citroen C2 right into the side of me! Turns out he'd only been driving 2 weeks The damage is actually worse than it looks. I think the door hinges have been pushed into the A pillar and there is a good inch or so gap along the top of the passenger door, which means they can't just re-skin the door I don't think... Anyway, had it collected by his insurance on Sunday and it's on route to the local UK Assist accident repair centre for assessment... my insurers saw these photos and advised they would class it as borderline Total Loss and that the garage would be able to make the call... Gutted is an understatement... 2 weeks ago today I bought it, love(d) it... Gonna be hard pressed to find another in the same condition, with FSH and Clutch + DMF already done... Think if I do have to source a replacement, I might look for a dark grey or black 320d... still want an early 2007 one as it doesn't have a DMF to worry about.... Anyway, thought I would share... sucks to be me right now! Cheers. Steve. |

Hello!
New to the forum, on my third BMW now. Had 2 E46, the last one was a 2005 coupe which I had for over 5 years. Got this cracker at the end of last year, 2010 318 E90 M Sport Business Edition. So it has plenty of toys (idrive etc which the dealer kindly put the latest maps on) plus a few more. If I'm honest it's not the fastest thing in the world, but I'm happy with it. |

Hello everyone!
First post on this forum but lurking since 2015. I bought my first BMW end of 2014 and went with E92 335i MT as I wanted something nice and faster than my FIAT BRAVO 2.0 JTDm. Before you jump to say 'anything from BMW would be faster than Bravo' let me say that my little hatchback had 225HP and 430Nm with only 1300kg of weight Anyway, I quickly got used to my BMW power levels as the torque per tonne was worse than in my FIAT, and started digging the topic of improving things bit by bit. Long story short I'm on almost FBO (no DP's as the ones I purchased this Feb. didn't fit): - Forge large intercooler - Some Chinese aluminium charge pipe with HKS SQVV IV BOV - Race all aluminium coolant radiator (30% bigger than stock) - BMS DCI air intake - BMS Oil Catch Can - 2nd cat. delete - Custom made air scoops - Custom remap on the rolling road by Cinsoft interchangeable with MHD maps - Black Diamond driller and cut disk brakes with pads (currently off as I managed to warp them due to worn suspension arms) I'm using my car for business trips and drive it almost everyday. I did 13k miles in the last 4 months and 50k since buying this car. Currently it reads 133k and climbing. In two weeks time I will be changing few things like: - Revised catless DP from RM Motors - Hybrid Turbos Stage 2 (hot and cold sides) - Inlets and outlets by MMP (2'' silicone tubing) - 18 ROW oil cooler to replace stock radiator - NGK iridium sparks - New LPFP - 335is/550i clutch - EGT sensors, one per each bank mounted in exhaust manifold - New custom maps As this is daily driver, for now I'm not planning any meth injection systems or E40 E85 fuelling as we all know getting that fuel in UK is difficult and expensive. Once my car is upgraded I will create topic for it and post some real dyno numbers. Few pics: Last edited by lightmanek; 07-20-2016 at 03:52 PM.. |

Pre LCI 2008 330i here (N53), purchased last month. Montego blue
First BMW and a cracking car (especially that engine). 60k miles, 2 owners, full BMW service history. All would be well if it wasn't for some pesky shadow codes for NOx & low fuel pressure sensor. |

Hi all.
Just registered after buying a 46k mile 2008 Le Mans Blue 335i. I'm no stranger to turbo petrol cars having owned S14a 200sx, Audi S3, Mazda 6 MPS and now the Beemer as I wanted to go back to RWD. Already have a VRSF intercooler, charge pipe, downpipes and MHD but plan to go for the hybrid turbo route. I wish there was a feasible single turbo kit for RHD. I would put a pic up but the car isn't too clean at the mo :-D |
