Picked up my E90 330D M-Sport LCI around March and I was lucky to get such a good example.

I went for the Space Grey with a manual box, didn't get iDrive as it was out of my price range and to be honest, whilst it looks nice, I don't think its nearly as versatile as the Android HU I have since installed.

Since owning the car I have done some very minor mods including the rear lip spoiler, matte black kidney grilles, matte carbon fibre dash trim and roof.

I will wrap the wing mirrors in the same carbon wrap used on the roof.

No engine mods but it will be remapped in a couple of weeks, intercooler will be upgraded later along with the discs and pads.

Hi all.
I’ve recently bought an E92 325i SE as a little run about, certainly not my first choice but it’s doing the job. I’ve come across from BabyBmw having owned an E81 123d, which my wife now has following the death of her diesel clio, so I’m hoping this site will prove just as useful!

Thanks

To be honest I'm not actually sure of the brand of vinyl but it certainly wasn't the quality of 3M or Avery vinyl that I would normally work with. It was generally a bit difficult to work with, not particularly pliable and adhesion isn't great as I need to do my dash trim again. I'll be doing that with 3M stuff!

I picked up a sheet 1200mm x 3m (cut from a roll) in size, that was more than enough to do the roof and all of the trim in the car, doors inc.

Hi all,

Been lurking a while, finally signed up as have just bought an E90 325i (LCI) which is in pretty good order apart from a couple of known issues, most serious of which is a rough idle when starting from cold (I know, I know!) - but I think I have a good car for the money so looking forward to getting it back up to scratch.

So where's the best (cheapest) place to get some new injectors? Is the general consensus to replace all 6 with issue 11s or just isolate and replace the failed ones?

Pics to follow!

Good morning E90postUK. I'm Stuart. If you've ever been on E30Zone or E46Zone we may have crossed paths before.

Currently I'm running an E46 330d, but I hope to soon be actively looking for an E93 325d as a "mid-life crisis" car for a few road trips my wife and I are planning for the year of our 60th birthdays.

I have a few questions about living with both the convertible and the N57 engine - why else would I be here! I'm away now to see if I can find the answers, or to ask the questions myself.

Hello!

Hi all,

I'm Anthony from Leicester, a life long petrol head and BMW fan. Picked up my 5th BMW today, a 2006 330i M Sport saloon, 6-speed manual, in graphite grey (don't know the exact colour!) with beige leather, Pro Nav, lights under the door handles, and the standard lo-fi-hi-fi.

Bought this from a garage near Tamworth with 72k on the clock, 2 owners, lots of stamps in the book, but zero receipts. It's wearing an AFE intake, Red Stuff pads, some fruity discs of some sort, and a set of aftermarket number plate surrounds, but otherwise seems standard. It's in generally decent condition all round and has had a polish in the last few months for sure; very little in the way of baked on cack! The MOT in October showed front brake pipes and a slightly weak handbrake as advisories, though the garage re-MOT'd it a few days back and it's showing no advisories now. I'm not certain those bits have been done - the handbrake isn't great - so I'll be booking it in for a quick check over at my usual garage. While they're under it I'll ask them to take a nosey at the water pump too, as that seems to have a really, erm 'variable' life span. I know that now thanks to this forum, so, cheers to you all! If the water pump has never been replaced I'll get that done along with the thermostat, and brake pipes/handbrake if needed too.

Cosmetically, I'm going to whip the number plate surrounds off, replace the crispy-as-usual M logo door sill finishers with a set I grabbed off eBay (that arrived before the car did!) put in a set of very cheap beige mats in just to get me through winter (eBay again and just £13.49... they will be dreadful!), and give the leather a good scrub. The seats are really clean looking but there's a bit of colour difference when comparing the rears to the fronts, driver's especially. I've never used anything more than disposable leather wipes on seats in the past, and I'm intrigued to try out some stuff called DoDo Juice Supernatural I picked up. It has decent reviews, and the before and after pics on lighter leathers are impressive.

After that I'll just enjoy it and look after it as needed.

Current car aside, working newest to oldest, my former loves are...

2005 BMW 535d Touring M Sport, Titan Silver, Black Leather. Up for sale on Pistonheads at the moment.
2007 Honda Civic Type-R GT, Milano Red with the usual red/black interior.
2000 Porsche Boxster 2.7, Zenith Blue, Metropole Leather.
2003 325ti M Sport 6 speed manual, black with black Alcantra/cloth
2003 SEAT Leon Cupra R, some kind of grey, miserably built lump of horse vomit! Straight swapped it for the 325ti and was so, so glad I did.
2000 Approved used E46 323i M Sport Coupe, Titan Silver, Black Leather
1997 E36 328i Coupe in a blue/grey with grey leather
2000 Astra I'll spare you any details!
1996 Astra ditto.
1977 MK1 Golf GLS 1.5 Auto in burgundy with a biscuit velour interior! Early dome dash small lights jobbie with a manual choke and a Weber carb too big for its own good!
1986 Fiat Strada 70cl Savoy. I assume 'Savoy' as in 'cabbage' as opposed to 'posh hotel' but either way, in its own, quirky, hilariously unreliable and rusty fashion, as my first car it represented freedom!

That's me Happy to be aboard.

Long time member, new e90 owner

Hi Everyone - I’ve been a member on zpost for many years, owned a 3.0 Z4 and now have a silver grey Z4 MR in the garage, but I’ve not posted much as most of my time has been spent on the Z4-forum.

My wife’s ancient Honda Accord was written off a few weeks ago, and she’s wanted a 3er for some time. We managed to find her an 07 plate 318i SE auto with just 34k miles on it, decent history, decent condition, cruise, part electric heated seats, auto wipers and lights, professional hifi, lighting pack, split folding rear seats and a few other bits. Power is obviously not high - think it’s 125bhp - but for her driving most of the time that’s fine... and it does drive lovely compared to an ancient Honda.

It’s just got standard 16” wheels (it’s her car not mine, so I’ll settle for changing the centre caps for now  ... It does need :

Engine manifold plastic cover - got
Private plates transferred - got
New petrol cap lanyard - got
Demisting headlights - something I am familiar with from my last Z...
Brighter headlights - another familiar problem easily fixed
Rear centre oddments tray to cover the through-load hatch - like hens teeth and €133 from Germany new !!!!

Bloody BMW and their plastic parts mark-up...

So, I am quite excited to sort a few bits on it as I’ve not really had to do anything to the Z4 M in the way I did to my 3.0Si. It’s just the wife’s DD, but I’m sure I’ll have stupid questions and an opinion, so looking forward to taking some part in the forum.

Oh, and if anyone knows where to get that ‘oddments tray’ hatch cover for less than a night on the beers please let me know - cheers

Unfortunately the links to my pics on Dropbox aren’t working... I need to find a different place to put them before I can share them...

Hi Everyone

Just want to say hi having recently purchased a E93 325i. Really enjoying the six cylinder engine compared to the previous C220 CDI (Taxi)!

Hello.

I'm new on this community. I just found it several days ago and seems quite interesting.

FIrst for all, sorry in advance for my s**** english. I'm trying to improve it, but... is difficult for my. Sorry for it.

About my car. I bought 7 months ago (june 2017) a bmw e90 318d (yeah, n47 engine...). Was my dream car and because I was new in uk, the insurance was really high (so a 325 or more was crazy). And I'm doing a lot of miles every day, so the best option was that. Thats my second car in my life (own), I'm very happy with it. The bluewater at the first was not the best option, but now I really like it.

I leave some photos. Is just a basic version, only the M-pack, but I'm trying to fix it and update it. But with time.

Hello!

I just picked up my second BMW 330D, my first was a silver 2005 E90, this one is metallic blue 2011 E90!

Loving it so far, but definitely got some questions I'm sure I will be posting at some point.

New and wheel advice

Hi All
I am new to the site, just bought a 2005 E87 130I to use as a track car, took it out at Lakeside on Monday and was super happy with how it went (stock). I’m keen to get some track wheels and tyres and have been offered a set of:
2x 18x8.5 35 Offset.
2x 18 x 8 with 42 Offset.
5x120 with correct BMW ctr bore.
From what I can gleam from the net they should just about fit, any advice much appreciated.
Regards
Adrian

Hi all, my names Andy and I’m from Newcastle. Just bought an e91 2006 320d touring in grey, needs tlc and inside was disgusting, I’m planning on recovering it to its former glory and some mods along the way. First thing is getting it serviced and a new battery (still has original) I’ll post some pics over the next few days, cool forum too, loads of useful info!

E91 325i

In 2014 I realised after nearly a decade that diseasel wasn't for me any more, so I bought an E86 Z4 Coupe!

Plus a Mazda 323F 1.5 because I needed something vaguely sensible for elderly parent transport, DIY shopping and going to the tip - and the road tax was cheap!

Within 3 months I was so bored with the Mazda and it's lack of performance I started looking for better options, and in November 2014 I found an E46 325ti Sport in Imola Red - so I bought it and sold the Mazda.

I loved my 325ti Compact, but it had some issues so a couple of weeks ago I bought my E91 325i SE to replace it as my "sensible" car - and here I am!

It's Graphite with Lemon leather, heated seats and on Blizzak winter tyres so it works really well just now!

Hello there!!

Hello all,

Genuine newbie here. Picking up an E90 325i next week and CANNOT WAIT. Especially as my first two cars were:

2001 Punto mk2
2003 Focus mk1

Basically a pretty decent upgrade
