E93 335 lease..... please advise!
Ive been shopping around for a E93 335 and I went and priced one out with the following options:
Base MSRP $49,100 Crimson Red $0 Black Dakota Leather $0 Brushed Aluminum trim $0 Navigation system $2,100 Destination & Handling: $775 Total MSRP as Built $51,975 Heres the lease details: 4,000$ total out of pocket 670$/mo for 36 months 12k miles per year allowed When and if I go back to order this car I will add sports package, but built as is do you think this is a good deal or should I keep looking around? |

Hmm...well you seem like the type of person that doesn't really care about taking the car down the twisties, but I would advise you to try to test drive a sports package car and non-sports - leasing is still losing money and at 670/month w/ 4k down you're going to lose 28k... =/
But w/e floats your boat man...E93 is awesome!!! edit: disregard that comment about the sports package just read that bit that you wanted to add it |

how can you compare a COMMON e90 to an UNCOMMON e93?? the money factor is totally different and so is your negotiating leverage? i think 670 per month is pretty good deal.

Assuming you negotiated a selling price of ~$2000 off MSRP your selling price should be: $49,975
If that "$4000 out-of-pocket" includes a $1500 Cap cost reduction (otherwise know as DOWN PAYMENT), that gives you an adjusted Cap cost of $48,475. Assuming you are given the current April BMWFS rates of 61% residual (for 335i E93 Convertible at 12K miles/year) and a money factor of .00245 then: Your monthly payment should be: $662.27 (no tax included) You say they offered you $670, so that's close.

I calculated the numbers above ($662.27/month) from the following excellent calculator:
http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm If you use it, you will NEVER get burned!
