Well that is all good but many won't be at ease knowing of the problem and these engines being prone to digest the belt after it snaps from the pulley hitting the subframe and costing a lot to repair and would just replace those 034 mounts.

Between these mounts, cam ledges, and injectors the prices are becoming stupid expensive. $650 for rubber mount?? Cant make this shit up.

Bring More Wallet

At that price you might as well spring for the rebuildable Turner mounts.
I think the accounting a$$holes at BMW are trying to recoup the losses from the countless recalls...

True, they are doing the same with the injectors too. The alternative version index #12 that was $115 is removed. Only the expensive index #12 for $250 remains available.

The lower OEM part prices were an attempt to cover up the actual cost of addressing the flaws (bad injectors, hpfp, etc.). Accounting tricks 101.

I guess the liability piece of the "acknowledged" flaws" has expired and the normal BMW price gouging can resume as normal. Part price gouging has to be a major revenue generator for BMW. Definitely offsets the warranty and recall losses!!

This honestly shouldn't be legal. This is 100% price manipulation.

Yesterday I asked my Local Indy to estimate an OEM Turbo replacement as P/E (They're not bad yet apart from the noisy wastegate but I know they'll have to be replaced someday), the price of EACH turbo from BMW is now 1750 Euros ...

Last year I was quoted 700 Euros per Turbo seems to me the experience of owning a N54 will become an expensive hobby...

I've seen their price when I had a Google look yesterday - even with customs charges (around 20%) it's well worth it !!!
I hope they keep the price like that, I've got a feeling that it will go up when their stock is empty (and I don't plan to swap right now...The old ones are still blowing, even if they're becoming lazy on low RPM)

Thanks for the link anyway

There are/were problems with the bottom part of the mount coming apart. It was a little while back and I read that 034 was aware and looking into/fixing it but I'm not 100% sure if that was true or ever happened.

That being said I do have about 20k miles on 034's and no issues so far.

Planning to do the oil pan gasket, and want to get rid of these 034 mounts after 15-20k. Definitely feel the play the worn OEM mounts had.
Just spit out my coffee when checking the price of 22116793240 on FCP. Any other options that won't lead to NVH? Had poly mounts on a prev car and I hated it.

Edit: Looked up the Rein part #, only to find "out of stock" signs and sketchy Amazon resellers who sell without inventory. Solid.

I wonder if the current parts are being discontinued, and a new revision is on the way? The same is happening with N54 injectors. They were $130 ea. and now are more than double. With respect to those, I ran across a post somewhere that mentioned that a new revision is on the way.

Unless they are compatible with newer models (i.e. cars still under warranty) I highly doubt they would revise a part that are only applicable to legacy models.

I put the 034 mounts in for both engine & trans about 1500 miles ago. So far no issues with them. As far as them being just a good as the IS mounts. Idk. I never had the IS mounts. I will say they are better than OEM mounts.

My eyes dropped when the right mount is $80 and the bloody fucking left 335is upgraded mount is $600 . Saw the rein ones not to long ago , was like $120 each which are no longer available . Any other suggestions then the 034 mounts, looks like they fail though.

Anyone try these? Turner Performance Polyurethane Engine Mount Set
Am sure they must add some nhv or vibrations, in the description is set says hardly any lol
