E90 Noob head light help

Hey everyone I've had my E90 for probably about a year and half and I still know nothing I should probably know. Currently I'm looking at upgrading to angel eyes from stock halogen non angel eyes and I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've been trying to some Google searches but everything is so dated I'm not sure what I should be and shouldn't be looking at, I was hoping it was an easy one stop shop with plug and play. Any tips in where to look or what products are the best would be great appreciated or if any of you know of some one selling a kit that would help as well!
