ALSO,

Anyone know what the difference is between these 2 listings on ECP?

E.G. brembo £108.99 at the top, £73.99 at bottom....

doesnt really give a clear description on the difference at all.

I would recommend EBC green stuff pads, I’ve had them on a few cars and for me they have always been good. And they do produce less brake dust than normal pads, which means less cleaning as well.

I changed to brembo because eicher was terrible for brake squeak. But the brembos do create a lot of dust so cleaning is more frequent. I too have heard good things about the green stuff pads. Pagid seem to be a good compromise though less dust good performance no squeak and good value....

I had OEM, changed to Yellow Stuff by EBC, then changed to Mintex OEM equivalents. By far, the best ones Yellow Stuff. Obvious difference, especially at high speed braking. I'm really not liking the Mintex at the moment after having the Yellow Stuff. Also, one thing to note is that Mintex, Textar and Pagid are one company so it is very likely the performance of their OEM equivalent pads will all be the same. Cannot comment on the others you have listed.
You mention good performance which means you want a fast road/track pad and all the ones you have listed are OEM equivalents as far as I am aware. So you will not get any better performance from OEM.

Therefore, my recommendation would be to go for Yellow Stuff by EBC or if you can spend a little extra, go for Ferodo DS2500 which are supposed to be VERY good. However, like I say, they are not cheap.

pagid are good,,but if doing quite a few high speed braking sessions,,then they will fade quick,,,ive had red stuff in the past and are quite good with less fade and no dust at all..

I currently have EBC Green stuff on the front and Centric Posi Quiet Ceramics on the rear.

Initially I went with EBC Green stuff to eliminate the oem brake dust. I can tell you that I am definitely not getting EBC green stuff again. It dusts. Ever so slightly less than oem but it dusts enough to notice a dirty brake dust wheel. Stopping however is pretty good with EBC.

Now on to the rears, I went with Centric-Posi Quiet Ceramic Pads. Read some reviews and decided to give them a try. Although it's unfair to compare rear brakes with fronts, posi quiet ceramics are virtually dustless on the rear. Will definitely go with this same pad on the front when EBC's are due for a change. Also price is pretty damn good.

I always use Textar as that is what BMW use. Always give good braking, and much cheaper than going to BMW to buy the same pad in a different box.
