I'm running the UUC Corsa axle-back. Nice cold start growl. Sounds great at WOT, and nice and quiet during normal driving. No drone at all.

Once my warranty expires I'll be adding downpipes. I'm hoping for the same behavior, just a little more "enhanced".

Apparently borla makes a compatible catback, does anyone know if their race pipes fit the xi though? I might be going this route.

It sucked. Two weeks of living with drone was enough for me.

After two weeks, I pulled it off the car and sold it immediately. My days of irritating, resonating exhausts are done. Catless DPs + OEM catback + enlarged tips = perfect.

That said, if you keep your stock DPs, the drone from the AE is almost gone thanks to the cats. Fully catless, though... terrible.

setup:
- UR catless DPs
- custom exhaust: replace secondary with x-pipe, stock mufflers with cyba quad tips

It's pretty loud, smells, bit of rasp, and a tiny bit of drone.

Yet I'm thinking I want it louder. Might go for a set of mufflers (axle back system or just two magnaflow cans).

Most people who have heard my car seem to think it's perfect the way it is. We shall see.

EDIT: added small video

Borla fits the xi, but will drone with catless downpipes and Borla section 3 with AT (as will most if not all other systems). An additional muffler in the midpipes fixed the drone for me.
