Uneven tire wear

I have some pretty random tire wear on my '07 335i sport 18"s.

The rear right tire might as well be a racing slick across the entire width of the tire whereas the rear left still has some tread, but is down to the little "change me" ridge. The front left still has a good amount of tread, and the front right is bald on the outside but still has tread on the inside.

The obvious answer here for me seems to be a new set of tires and a re-alignment, but I'm not really sure what to make of the right back tire. The set has 31,000 miles on them. Is there something else going on here? Should I attempt to get the dealer to replace the tires under warranty due to premature tire wear?

Times like this I wish the 335 had an LSD. Advice?

the rear tire are to be replace every 25k miles stated by the dealership. and the different tread is probably because of the alignment was off.

Sounds like you got your moneys worth out of the oem tires.

Do you spend a lot of time doing counter-clockwise donuts (or make exclusively left turns while drifting)?

Seriously, you got more than expected from the B-stone runflats. Does sound like you need an alignment (or your passengers REALLY need to lose some weight), but the tires don't owe you a thing at this point.

I insisted BMW replace my front tires @ 3,700 miles, & check the alignment. My front tires was feathering on the outer edges.
They said the tow was out in the back....

Now @ 22,600 my rear-ORIGINAL tires are bald, left inside has cords showing Those 2 new front tires are the same as the originals with major feathering & the road noise is awful!
I expected more from a BMW.

My counter to this is the best priced HIGHEST-MILEAGE non runflat I can find, and zero the camber, make the rear & front wheels straight up and down like a normal car.. I could care-LESS about hanging curves anyway, I want tires that will last!!!

Problem should be solved, I'll know this week.

Manual says replace tires when they have less than 1/8" of thread. Tires have special markers at regular intervals that will show up if only 1/8" of thread is left. Local law regulations such as in the EU or those in NY, US are more conservative when compared to BMW's and require you to replace only at 1/16". The dealership saying 25k miles makes no sense to me -- as it depends on your driving habits. Also, manual recommends tires to be replaced within 6 years regardless of wear.

31k miles is a good amount of life out of your OE tires.

The rear tires sounds to be normal wear from a RWD without LSD. The front seems to be the toe being out of spec, causing the inside the wear much faster than the rest of the tire.
