DIT: Installing an Alpine HiFi on my e93 with new subs!

Hi all,

This time, I bring you how I retrofitted my car with an Alpine HiFi Kit and a pair of BMW HiFi subs.
It is easy but requieres many time (3 hours at least)
But it worth the time and money.

Now, my car sounds better and it has more punch. It is not a very powerfull amp but for me is enough

You can see how I pass the wires between the trunk and the front of the car (this is the most difficult task) but you can use it for other audio kits.

If you are planning to retrofit the original Ski Bag, this could be useful too.

Regards!

EDIT: If you are also planning to upgrade the rear speakers you could find interesting THIS RETROFIT

Yes, you can.
But you need to use the new kit. Mine is the old one.

The new kit es plug&play and it reference is 65412163268, no slice wires is needed. But you could need a new subwoofer because LCI cars with business dont have the sub under co-driver seat.
And you could need to code the head unit in order to get it sending signal with proper level to the amp.

[65412163268] is the part number I'll need to order?

How do you "Code" the head unit and what level is the correct level for the amp?

Is there a DIY to do the "code" for the headunit?

Thanks so much!!

Here you have the instructions for your car.

I don't know how to code it (If you have Business-CD it is not necesary to code!) Because I have never coded a car with this equipment... Sorry.
Maybe you have to add a K-Word to your VO and recode the Head Unit.

Regards!
