It probably the same tune as BPC tune. Heck, he created BPC tune. So if stagefp tune = BPC tune, then yes - many have tried it.

Bob and Hass are the go-tos.

Also I find it amusing Marty used my pics on the website 😍

Yep, tracked Bob down through the forums and got to speak to him about this.

Long story short, I'll be driving to NC (Stage FP) from NYC to complete my project (they'll be doing 3IM, MILVs and tune)

I have his 3SI tune from when he was at the other shop. Currently he is working on my headers tune...then the Milvs will be coming shortly after.

I was basically waiting on my VCG to develop a leak before opening her up.

I've seen your posts, we're basically on the same journey! I wanted to wait for the gasket to leak but at the same time didn't want to because what's wrong with a little preventative maintenance

Yeah!

I have been basically following all of Desertman123's mods as he documented them so well.

Right now I just have 3:73's and the 3SI, but plan to install my headers in about two weeks.

I can tell you this, the gears really woke the car up!

I seen your message, but can't reply for some reason in the CP.

I haven't got the headers on yet, but they are coming! I plan to install the week after next when I get some time off of work.

Once done, I will post up my impressions in the "128' section so I don't clutter up these boards.

Looks like ill have to replace my valve cover gasket soon. im considering this mod and the bcp milv tune for it. Can these milv/tune with 3im, AA headers, 3.73 diff, secondary cat deletes beat a 335i? any quarter mile times? recent dyno charts?

Put it this way, stock 335i puts down nearly the same HP maybe a little more but they build far more torque. Your rear end will help but If the 335 has just a simple MHD tune, forget it! It will kill you in the straights.

Stage one MHD tunes have 350hp and 350 ft lbs if torque. And the torque is strong from 1,500 RPMs up. They do this with stock hardware. Start adding bolt-ons and things get really crazy. For very little money, you can build an insane 335.

Just Drive smarter and beat him in the corners.

When I had that set up but still had stock muffler and secondaries I did a 14.02 1/4 mile pass:

That set up should dyno around 240-245whp more or less. Add a silicone tube, ram intake, charcoal delete, and aftermarket muffler (or muffler delete) and you might get to 250-255whp.

Stock 335’s are like mid 13’s. 2 weeks ago I beat a stock 335is vert pretty easily but I’ve added some mods since I ran that slip and am now running like 13.7 quarters if there’s an excellent D/A, like under 900.

+1.

Torque is what these little cars are needing the most of. And from what I have read, there isn't much you can do about that. I'm still learning these engines, and the first thing I was looking at was boosting compression somehow until I read how much the N52 already has.

Just do all the bolt-ons, and enjoy the car for what it is. I would like more torque, but I honestly find the power-band to be extremely enjoyable. My Vette has torque for days. Once you get to a point, traction becomes an issue anyway.

Both cars are a blast to drive...one reason being is that the power delivery is so different.
