I'm sure those TV don't have major issues though. If it did at that price people would complain to.

But do you have actual evidence that there are no major issues?!?!?!? Because I'm pretty sure the ones made between 7:52am on 1/22/19 and 9:47pm on 3/12/19 are ticking time bombs.

Well do you have evidence that there is major issue?

In case of OFHG we have somewhat some evidence or some cases that there is either a problem POSSIBLY.

I'm not saying there is or there isn't, I'm just noticing and acknowledging what I see.

You're just speculating with no real knowledge on the issue just like most here, including the ones like Marco who just lie to try and bolster their opinion.

I just want to know where all the failing N55s are at. The amount of blown up N54s I've seen posted over the past few months has vastly outnumbered the number of N55s.

Outside of the few threads that popped up here a few months ago I really haven't seen any updates from anyone or any new cases... Literally a handful of N55 owners, that lost engines over several years time, all jumped onto a thread and no new cases have really been added to it. It has been months. If it were such a widespread systemic issue with the engine then why hasn't the thread grown dramatically with all this new awareness being raised?

Must have ran with no oil pan. BMW came out with an SIB that outlined the ramifications of running without an oil pan. Marco is going to post a copy of this SIB in a minute.

I don't know who Marco is but do know why BMW start making these without oil pan. Is for easy access because they fail so often.

Doesn't change the fact that there is actually an SIB oil priming to be done when work is done on oil system parts and OFHG is included in it.

I'm not trolling, I am pointing out the ridiculousness of these noob theories and outright lies being posted by others here and elsewhere.

Again, realistically there were hundreds of thousands of N55's built and less than a handful of documented failures with questionable findings at best. Time to escape from lala land.

I don't know seems like trolling.

But still, how is it ridiculous. BMW have issued a SIB to prime the oil system and it includes OFHG work. They're not saying OFHG failures but they are saying to prime it.

Yeah and BMW also says the transmission fluid is lifetime fluid and they can't design a OFHG, VCG, or OPG that doesn't leak prematurely.

Yeah and BMW also doesn't design nor manufacture any transmissions neither. Maybe try another analogy.

Yeah but then again, wouldn't they say to not prime the engine after related work that way you will have to buy a new car or engine if we go by your logic that BMW doesn't care for things to last.

I agree with you their fluid specs are sometimes dumb but when it comes to SIBs or techincal work docs I would trust them.
