Mens Grooming Tips

As a guy that likes to take care of himself, I thought I may open some dialogue for grooming tips. We all have different habits and things that we do to take care of ourselves and thought finding out certain tips or techniques may help some of us learn new things.

For example, as men get older we will have to fight the battle of ear hair; not only in the canal but around the lobe, etc. I use a cigarette lighter to lightly wave against the area to singe it off so that I don't have long hairs or peach fuzz in the ear area. I also use a dedicated hair trimmer for the canal as to not develop a forest in there.

For teeth, I use some activated charcoal I found on amazon that removes stains and has amazing results.

What else can you guys throw out there?

I switched from using cartridge style razors to Double Edge Safety Razors years ago and never looked back. It's a great shave, does not irritate my skin, and is much cheaper.

I shave my whole head, keeps down the lice/dandruff

That charcoal for the teeth was one of my better moves in recent years!

The trimmer I use on my back, nuts, and goatee is how I keep the ear-forest at bay.

I sometimes suffer after longer exertions, but I switched from "deodorant" to the crystal mineral salts for the pits.

And finally, about once a week after I turn off the shower, I rub my whole body with baby oil before drying off. No more ashy knees!!!!!!

I used a straight razor for a while. I really enjoyed it. It made feel all fancy and shit....until I cut myself that one good time.....never again.

I may try this. Gillette razors are damn pricey and I honestly don't get a great shave with them. I have two trouble spots on my neck that are impossible to get 5 little hairs that causes me to go over them over and over until get razor burn.

That charcoal stuff is the business!!! I started using mine in the shower to cut back on the mess it makes. Also rinse my mouth for a really long time and continue to brush to knock down the residual charcoal left behind. That shit can be a headache to get it all from the nooks and cranny's of the gum line.

Since the summer months are near, if you have not tried the Goldbond powder on the junk maneuver, you should definitely try it.

So, what for the feets? Not sure if I should, but considering after finishing the teeth with the charcoal to take a rub between the toes.

pumice stone? That's for the toilet bowl. I'm not grinding off dead skin from my heels, I'm trying to get rid of the sour cheese smell.

Yeah . Lups already confused me in the past with complicated gender shit .
Finally the dude (he said he was female) posted a picture from his feet, actually huge feet . And I thought that chick can walk on water !

You cut yourself because your Shavette was blunt . You have to sharpen your Shavette on time . With a sharp Shavette you will never cut yourself .
Mine is always sharp like a scalpel !
