I'm struggling at the moment to find someone adequate for a role I am looking to fill in my team, so thought it may be worth posting up here...

Its the Treasury Front Office Associate. This is an entry level role so ideally I am looking for a graduate OR someone with good GCSE's who has potential I can build on.

Its an exciting role to get into Banking and quite unique in that most entry level positions ask for a 2:1 in a finance discipline degree from a good uni and bags of other shit and usually restrict the individual to one aspect in Banking. I'm giving the opportunity to get involved in everything ranging from ALM, Trading, Analysis, Securitisations, IRR etc.

I have had a number of applications but have yet to come across a well written innovative CV.

What kind of scope for career progression is there with this?

Well it's a junior role so there is a huge amount of scope. Someone comes in and prove themselves I can help in which path they so choose whether it be a Treasury analyst, dealer or working in ALM.

A close friend of mine is currently in his final year studying maths (on for a first). This kind of role would suit him perfectly but the issue is he's from india and would need a company to sponsor his visa for 5 years i believe.

Is that a possibility in this role?
