I don't think Logic sound is all that great. You may want to replace the woofers underneath your seats for good base without sacrificing your trunk space for a sub.

I replaced the underseat woofers with some Jehnerts fancy ones, and they didn't do much for me. What did help was an 8" sub that I put in one corner of the trunk in a custom box.

I did something similar. Ended up using a JL 700/5 and JL 200/2 and the technic harness and all problems are solved. JL 200/2 powered the rears and 700/5 powered the front, under seat, and trunk sub (JL 10w6v2). This is assuming that your car comes with HiFi though. I got all my stuff through MusicarNW. PM (VP Electricity) to find out more and also check out their website. You can't go wrong with his solution!

I also did an MS-8. If I were to do it again, I'd just do a simple signal processor (AudioControl or the like). The MS-8 sounds fine, but I didn't really like the results of the auto-calibration, so I ended up using a RTA and just equalizing it by hand.

We are installers for MusicarNW systems for this area if anyone would like to purchase any of their products. I don't think there are many people that know the sound system on this platform better than VP Electricity / MusicarNW.
I've heard CAS does some crazy stuff. Quality looks top notch too. |
