KEY FOB tricks
So i didn;t know that windows can be rolled down using the key fob until my friend showed me.
I was wondering what other tricks there are that can be done with the key FOB buttons. Like can my windows be rolled up? i tried fiddling around with the buttons but can only do the windows lol Any help would be appreciated THX |

You're going to get flamed for starting 2 threads on key fobs. Just a FYI.
Through coding you can fold mirrors too and such. |

Roll windows up:
unlock, lock, unlock, lock, lock, unlock, lock, lock, unlock, lock (hold) Engine start: hold all trunk open, unlock and locked for 7 seconds |

My 2008 E90 didn't roll the windows up, just down with the key fob. However, my 2011 E93 rolls them up.
I heard some of the 2006 owners being able to do both with the keyfobs. I think they changed some things around from year to year.

Holding the trunk release button sets off the alarm (if you have one).

You're all soo funny!
If you have comfort access, Hold your finger on the lock ridges on the door handle until the windows start closing. If you have the regular key, Remove the metal key from the fob and stick it in the door. Turn it as if you're locking the car, and hold it in the turned position. This will close the windows. That's all there is with a stock-coded car. Me thinks people post jokes when they don't have the answer |

this is so funny, i was in my car today (2012 335is) and i had my key in my pocket (since i have keyless), as i leaned over to tie my shoe the alarm went off! i jumped because i didn't know what was happening. I must have held the trunk button and set it off
