We haven't had an XI in the shop recently to mock up a new design but most folks end up getting the pipe extended for an hours worth of labor or less. We'll be sure to get a solid 3d scan of the underside of an XI the next chance we get

I wish there was an XI version of the VRSF exhaust, my car is in need of some loudness, this stock exhaust sucks lol. Iíd buy an XI version right now if I could, as for cutting up a new exhaust to make it fit my car thatís a bit ehh for me, Iíd rather just pay for something to bolt up directly out of the box.

We're working on a revised front pipe now that we're settled into our new shop. I'll have updates available shortly.

So happy to hear this. Ive been trying to buy this exhaust but am not willing to cut it up and weld. But now will buy right when you come up with the revised front pipe. VRSF FTW

I wonder if those of us who had to cut and weld will get a discount on just the front part

No ETA yet folks, all existing kits still require modification for XI models. The modification is as simple as cutting and extending a couple pipes to clear the larger XI transmission. Most exhaust shops can get it done in less than an hour

Ditto brother. Just tried seeing if it would even connect to VRSF downpipes on XI even if we did the cut/weld at another shop. I have heard comments that this doesn't fit on the XI with aftermarket downpipes even if you cut it, only with stock downpipes.

I wanted to find out if this was true or not, but all I've gotten is radio silence.

The exhaust will bolt up to any XI with aftermarket downpipes, it's been modified since it's original version. Modifications to the mid pipe are still required.

It's August of 2019 and the demand curve for VRSF E90 xi aftermarket performance exhausts is rapidly shrinking despite its alleged price point. The delays are intolerable to a 60 year old E90 AWD owners like myself. Due to various financial realities, I am strongly considering pulling the "cha-Ching" on a Cobb exhaust.
I would prefer the OVERALL sound of the Borla exhaust for my baby and it is less quid than VRSF's offering. Borla refuses to guarantee fitmen for an '11 E90 LCI335i xdrive. Ironically, Borla grantees fitmen for the 2007 through 2010. Please educate me

Not sure why they don't, been told by multiple people that the n54 and n55 catbacks are interchangeable, it's the coupe vs. sedan and rwd vs. xdrive stuff that seems to matter.

Downpipes designed to fit with the stock catback (i.e. all of them) should have the same geometry.

I had a 3.5" catback from another manufacturer and could never get it to stop rattling on the chassis brace. Do a secondary cat delete and maybe an axleback and call it good. Or just get a shop to do the weld, it's not expensive and the vrsf exhaust is still cheap af.

Already replace the secondary cats with resonators and have electronic cutouts on the mufflers so bypass them. I have access to a welder and do my own, so Iíll be missing it to fit, also adding a vibrant resonator 17970 to it like budgetbimmers did, sounds great and will cut a lot of weight, and ensure the sound gets out and back from my car unlike my current cutout set up, just didnít want to buy DPs if I didnít have to.

Unlikely. If you want it, just get it and modify it to fit. It's about 1-2 hours of labor at an exhaust shop.
