Do I have the DCT transmission or the normal auto?

Was getting ready to do the MHD tune in my 09 335i coupe and there's an option for DCT or just normal auto and I'm not sure which to chose because I am not sure what transmission type I have. If it helps I have the M sport package equipped on my vehicle.

You have a regular auto. DCT usually came on 335is models and you would know by having the newer style shifter.

Having the DCT myself, and as a first time DC owner, you would definitely know. It shifts so much faster than any auto I've ever owned.

Thanks for the help everyone.
I probably could have compared it to other autos but this is my first auto car that I've owned.

Hard method, run your VIN through a decoder

Easy method, how many gears do you have. 6 or 7? Dual clutch gearbox has 7
