Tyre size query

Looking at getting some 235/35/19 for my e92. Is anyone else running this on front wheels on 19" mV4 alloys. Just wondering if they will rub

I've been looking around for some new rubber (313m's) and apparently many do run 235 and 265 if your wheels are anything like mine

I have 225 35 19s on mine which are fine, and the recommended size AFIK. They do look like they could go wider without much problem, but you will also be increasing the rolling radius, which might cause you problems.

The MV4's are 225 from factory but i'm going to try the 235's as I've managed to get hold of a set which have only been used for a few weeks really cheap, will let you know if I have any issues 👍🏼 the m3 uses 245 so should be fine

Doesn't the M3 use different body panels though? It also uses larger rears 265/35 or 285/30 I saw stated.

225 is the recognised factory fit and 235 will increase the rolling diameter by about 1.1% so the front wheels will rotate more slowly than the car expects. Not sure if this will be enough to upset traction control etc. Suck it and see I guess.

More often than not on BMW buying cheap means you buy twice! Caveat emptor!

They're pilot sport 4s tyres so not exactly cheap, i'm looking at getting a set of m359's in the near future which are slightly wider and others have said 235 is perfect for them. Can't imagine the 1.1% increase will have any impact since this is probably similar to the difference between new and worn tyres!
