I arrive back from a holiday in Cyprus that very morning (Aug 22nd) at 03.55am - ouch! But if thats the very only date that becomes doable then i would consider it. Can anyone do anything this month (July) ???

I don't think so! I'm still interested if I still have the MX, if I don't I doubt I'll come unless I get either a 944 or a working E30, otherwise it looks like I'm going classic again, don't think the car would cope

Can't do 22nd Aug
I thought Bedford sounded good as it has lots of grass run-off areas unlike some circuits |

personnally i think it should be at donnington. The circuit is MEGA and its more central UK so easier access to most members

I've heard the Donington track days are timed rather than open pit-lane... Would be nice to have open pit-lane so that we are free to enjoy as we please and get more track time for our £££'s

Ive never done a car track day so it may well be slightly different - but i do a lot of bike track days and on the non open pit lane days they split the riders into beginners/novice, intermediate and advanced - so 3 groups - and to be honest i did Brands yesterday and each group got four 20 min sessions in before lunch and 5 after lunch - and i personally feel this is as much track time as you need and i was knackered riding back home!!! As i said it may well be different when it comes to cars and is obviously not quite as exhausting. And at least you dont have to wear leathers in a car!!! Unless you are feeling a little kinky that day!!?? Anyway - i dont mind doing open or timed pit lane set up - i just want to do a bloody track day - anything!!!!!!

Its the fact that you get called off the track after 20 mins just when you might be getting into a rhythm and starting to improve your times. An open pit-lane would be ideal and the best value for money too
