Swapped coil and spark plug seperately still same misfire p0305 code

N51 engine with p0305 cylinder 5 misfire. Swapped coil first with cylinder 2 cleared code same code came back after second start. Swapped plug to cylinder 2 cleared code...same code came back as well. Any ideas what to do next...injector swap? Car runs fine btw

Also notice this only on cold start when sitting overnight. Please let me know your thoughts.

Then I would guess an injector is leaking overnight, leading to a misfire first thing in the morning until the excess fuel has burnt off.

Thanks for that I was thinking the same I'm going to swap injectors as my next step. I went ahead and cleaned off the nearby ground strap next to the 5 coil there was some build up

Swap the injectors it's quite easy. If it isn't that it could be some vacuum leak that goes away when the engine gets warm or who knows. Any other codes that aren't P codes? Aka Bmw specific ones

Thx for response going to swap injectors this weekend any tips? No other codes I clear after I do a change nothing else comes up. How do injectors get leaky?

Ok swapped an injector with a spare from a buddy keep your fingers crossed for me... hardest part was keeping all the fine debris and dirt from falling into the engine head when removing the injector rail
