Blinking Brake Force Display??

From what I can tell you have the frm module version 2 (frm2) not version 1 (frm1)

Have you activated the 3rd and 4th entry above BFD_BLINKEN .?

.. Bfd2_bfd & bfd2_aktiv? According to your file, they're turned off

I've gotten it working on mine, but the 3rd brake light does not appear to be flashing... Not sure if the VO coding was necessary, but I did it anyway before testing. Got work on that part. I will try to get another video when I have someone to hold the camera/remember to grab some sort of tripod.

i was finally able to get the rear fog light to work as bfd under hard braking

the value on my frm is:

BFD_2_NSL_ERSCH_BILD

i set it to wert03 instead of wert01

anyone know how to make the blinking faster? i like how my rear fog liggts blink under hard braking but i will like to see faster blinking.. anyone here?

So what exactly do I need to do to activate this on a frm2. I did the VO and coded like Pawell said and I tried to test it today but I was told no flashing happened. Am I simply not braking hard enough?

I'm guessing you are frm2? Were the rear fogs the only lights you got to work?

I'm on frm1.. n I haven't try the rest of the lights to blink. I just like my rear fogs to blink .. I just want to find out how to make the blinking faster on them rear foglight

There is a Hz value to change the blinking speed.

I want to code this on my e92 (12/2006 build date) with FRM1.

I've read through this whole thread, but I am a little confused, is it possible to enable this and just have ONLY the top mount brake light flash OR .... have ONLY the rear fog lights flash?

I definitely don't want my regular brake lights flashing, I think that would confuse other drivers more than help..

i only have my rear fog lights to blink on hard braking... just like the video....

BFD_1_NSL_ERSCH_BILD

set to wert 03

so they can be flashing like the ones on the video

send a copy of your frm.trc and ill tell you what to change if you cant get them to work
