Attempting to fix an exhaust leak (exhaust shops fault, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of going back) with JB Weld ExtremeHeat. We'll see how it goes.

Might even clean the inside of my windshield today too

Did my spark plugs today, Appear to be originals quite worn they were at .070 vs new at .042. I wished I had a valve cover gasket as I would have done that at the same time as well.

From other posts I’ve read, if it’s not working, keep turning the dial and driving around till it finds the “sweet spot”.

Read that too but didnt think that really applied to the o2 mixed up code. Thought it would be only for the efficiency codes

I just took apart this junkyard headlight switch for absolutely no reason because I didn't know the knob sunken in was actually a feature for when you bumped into it with your knee

Only certain switches can be pushed in.
Probably part of a mold where it has an additional plastic tab that doesn’t let it sink in.
The other switches let you push it in.
If yours doesn’t go in with little force, it can’t.

Thought I broke mine with my knee a while back but realized it still worked and left it alone then started playing with it one day and realized it goes in and out really easy. I like it better pushed in.

LCI thing? I'm afraid to try. Do yours all have the silver trim?

Also, rear fog light mod if you have the module out.

Never done it on my car but double checking the video of my rear fog light mod it seems I can. Your headlight switch has to have that small round cavity at the back for it to be able to go into the back. However I would suggest to anyone not to do it if your car doesn't normally because it does definitely get easier to push over time as I can tell on my junkyard switch so maybe it'll start going in when it wasn't before.

Mine didn't have the extra white LEGO looking piece, I used a flat headed bolt wrapped in electrical tape in its place. Still works perfectly after over a year

Same, cap screw and nut.

Not sure if bumps would cause it to strobe on and off after knocking around on the rubber "button" on the circuit board over time. It technically is 100x heavier than a lego piece, factory or otherwise.

I cut and melted a bunch of plastic dust caps together to end up with what was almost shaped the same way as the oem push thing. Works great after using it almost every day to cover up my failing pre lci taillights

Funny enough the lci headlight switch came from the factory with another push thing in the rear fog hole though ofc it wasn't enabled to be pushed

Where'd you buy the airbag btw? How much was it?

New oil and Filter - Got rid of the phone cradle and installed tray - installed a USB in place of cigarette lighter front front - hardwired dashcam and a wireless phone charger - gave her a wash.

Good day to be my car

Today I filled my car with petrol and realised I probably have a abraded breather hose causing a fuel leak. A whole pile of fun to replace. Not since my 635CSi (which I knew needed a lot) has a new BMW caused me so much work.

Wasn't quite sure what the actual market was with people asking from 125-250+ but I found a guy selling what he called a "post-recall" version for $175 shipped on eBay so I went with it. Seems almost brand new and came with the two connectors already connected to it. Shoot me a pm and I can send you the link.
