Exploring ideas on external gear indicator
Hello, had a slight project possibility I wanted need a bit of guidance on, hoping some brains on this forum can help me out
I was wondering if it was possible to rig up a tiny screen (as in 1" x 2") to create a secondary gear indicator light that mirrors the one in our dash cluster. I have an auto so this would need to read out P/R/N/D/S/1-6 I researched a bit on Arduino stuff but a lot of the information assumes a 'from scratch' approach where you'd need to create the input signal. But since our cars already have that exact functionality from factory, I was trying to figure out if it was possible to just piggy back off it to output to the second screen |
